2024: A New Benchmark in Lusitano Breeding

In 2024, Mantovani Horses achieved a significant milestone in the world of Lusitano breeding. This year, we oversaw the largest reproduction effort in the breed’s history, with over 300 foals born, all carrying the prized Escorial bloodline.

This accomplishment is the result of careful planning and a deep commitment to improving the breed. By pairing Escorial’s exceptional genetics with top-quality mares, we’ve produced a new generation of Lusitanos that are well-suited for high-level sport. Our focus has always been on quality, not just quantity, and this year’s results reflect that dedication.

These 300 foals are not just a record for us; they represent the future of Lusitano horses in competitive equestrian sports. Each one has been bred with the goal of combining athleticism, temperament, and rideability, key traits we believe are essential for success in the arena.

As we move forward, Mantovani Horses remains focused on producing top-tier Lusitanos that meet the demands of both professional riders and amateur enthusiasts. This year’s breeding program is a step towards that goal, and we are excited to see how these horses will perform in the years to come.
